LO1. 1.4 - Repurposing

Image
Repurposing Repurposing is using something (e.g. a picture, a video, a song etc) and reusing it so that it is different from the original purpose - for example, using an image that is originally used for a visual campaign and repurposing it for a promotional piece for a video game. I will look into pre-existing campaigns and see how they advertise the products and to see what i could do to advertise products in a similar or better way.  This is a print-based advertisement series created by a brand called 'BONDS' for underwear and it is in a comedy style (with strap lines such as 'IT'S NO PARTY IN HIS PANTS.' and 'I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'LL LAST ANOTHER CURRY.' in a sans-serif font so it seems more friendly. This may attract people attention as comedy is a well known and loved genre and therefore people may be more interested into reading into what this advertisement entails.  MORE EXAMPLES https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DQsrXUWMzY This is an audio-visual campaign to advertise the clothing brand 'Champion'. It is a short video but it does a great job of showing ...
