Digital Media 2019 - 21 Elliot Bowers

I used the 'Type Mask Tool' to create an empty word. I then used the 'Paste Special' tool to paste a variety of pictures (e.g. Kano, graffiti, fire, the sea and the sky)  that I had previously found off of the internet to make the word 'Masthead' more interesting and stand out as it is unique and catches the viewers eye.

I chose to edit the word 'masthead' like this because it stood out to me out of the multiple different ones I did before my final drafts. I personally think the colours used make the words pop and stand out e.g. the 'Pattern Overlay' makes the word stand out and look a lot more interesting. I think the 'gradient overlay' the 'colour overlay' and the 'stroke' ones worked best. I struggled with the 'satin' one as it was hard to make it apparent that it had been edited.

I think all three of the 'Wrap Text' mastheads worked the best and they were the most interesting. I struggled mostly with the 'Drop Shadow' one as i forgot how to do it and struggled to remember.
