Word Paint Brush

I made the word 'MASTHEAD 'into a paint brush by using 'type mask' tool to create a outline/selection of the word masthead. I then saved the selection and used the 'define brush pre-set' to turn the selection into a brush. I then played around with the custom brush to see what I could create; I got a picture of Steve Harvey off of the internet and used the 'polygonal lasso' tool to cut around him, I then used the premade paint brush in three different colours, light blue to represent the suit, light grey to represent the face and dark grey to represent the moustache. I then used the 'type mask' tool again and wrote 'HAHA' as it was just the first thing that came into my head. I then painted with the masthead brush over and over to see what sort of affect it would make. I then played around with the rotation tool for the paint brush to see what that would look like. Overall, it was slightly tricky to create the paint brush as it was my first ever time but now that I know I have remembered how to do it and can do it again.
this is the higher end of the functionality of PS- you have linked back to the work we did in images into text in your test into image - the commentary is indepth but you could make this link in there too, the colour range is limited and this also may be an extension of outcomes.
